The Style

This Busy Person's Prayer Book is written in easy four-line rhyming verse (samples and list of prayers available below).
These prayers cover temptations, gossip, nutrition, pets, money troubles, jobs (or lack of a job), priorities, helping others, self-pity, and more.
Work has already begun on Volume 2 of the Busy Person's Prayer Book.

Why it Began
I wrote the first two prayers, Caregiver’s Prayer and Handcrafter’s Prayer, when I found myself praying about the same issues, over and over. Other prayers quickly followed. TheBusy Person's Prayer Book has a prayer for life's difficulties.

Why me?
I’ve been a free lance writer for over a quarter of a century, publishing over a hundred articles. I’ve had faith-filled articles in publications such as Catholic Digest, Alive! for Young Teens, Disciple, and others. I’ve also been a technical writer and editor for government projects. I was raised Catholic, went through parochial schools for 10 out of 12 years, fell away from the Church through alcoholism, and came back with a second wind. I love the fact that God makes himself available to me at any moment, especially when I need him the most.
